Steve and I were on Channel 7 news last night!

We had planned a day of videogames but Steve wanted to help out Zane at the polling booth for the election. Zane was running as the hip hop candidate for the Socialist Alliance.

I dropped by to say hi, and they handed me a ultra day glo green t-shirt which said 'Vote For Zane' on it. I wore it and handed out flyers for fun. We sung up raps about Zane "All the rest are all the same! Use your brain, Vote for Zane!" etc.

A quizzical newswoman with cameraman in tow asked us what we were about and if she could film us. We were by far her most entertaining interview, Zane had a flag of Venenzuela on his head, Steve was singing Frank Sinatra at the time.

They interviewed, Steve and I beatboxed, Zane rapped.

Today my boss tells me he saw me on television last night. Too bad I missed it.

I worked from home today.

I didn't feel too good so I called in and said I'd work online. Zoe gave me a back massage as I drank tea and ate muesli. I listened to Janes Addiction and Sublime. Steve played video games next to me.. all while I was at work.

It was like a dream come true.

My boss lent me his Wii. It's a cool machine. Metroid is amazing. Wii sports is a lot of fun. I rate it because even people who are staunchly against video games find it entertaining and want to have a go. It connects rather than divides.

Its been busy.

REALLY Busy.

Ive gone from sitting around at home, drinking tea, staring at the sky and strumming off chords on my guitar, to waking at seven, administering an office, doing a business course, yoga, mentoring and a bunch of other busy busy stuff.

I will try to update this as soon as possible. (Theres lots to tell!).

** IMPORTANT FAVORITE COLOR CHANGE NEWS **

Dear Reader,

As you already may or may not know, throughout my whole entire life. the color Purple has been my favorite color.

However, this now no longer the case.

Alas, yesterday amongst moments of ecstatic revelation through yoga, I realized, that this fundamental core of my being had changed. And that much like the cathartic realization of love, or the fresh autumn wind under the sun, or even the soft caress of a child's bottom on a radiant morning face.. I had been oblivious to something that had been right in front of my eyes this whole time.

..that Purple was no longer my favorite color and I had a new favorite color.

A color combination in fact.

Two new favorite colors!..

Ladies and gentlemen.. without further ado, my two new favorite colors are..

TURQUOISE

And ..

RUST ORANGE

If you are wondering, which I would choose of the two, it would be Turquoise, but its the combination that really does it for me. However, if you are ever in need to choose just one favorite color to apply to me, I would recommend Turquoise.
