Why are you still here?
What with the oppression and everything!
Didn't they tell you.
Obviously not enough.
Here, rub your face with this,
It's clean like a cloud.
Now shut the blinds.
See that building over there?
It's a lighthouse.
Fly to it.

I love this song so much! It's so moving. I've learnt how to play it and will perform it this weekend with Nic Rachel and Louis.

How about some of the youtube comments on it,

'The lowercase n.
Bahh, Humbug.
Name one song about N.
I can stand for hours on a hill, and no rocketship comes.
But if I was a lowercase n, waiting is fruitful.
I have photos of me waiting on a hill. Do you want to see them?
I have a lowercase n costume, too.
You can have it. It doesn't seem to work.'

and

'The lowercase n finally gets a partner.
That's easy for the lowercase n to do. Especially in words such as running, grinning, etc.
But when you are fat, old and ugly, where do you find a partner?
In my next life I want to be a lowercase n.'

People are great.

Dum

Penguins. Look how stupid they are.

The whatchamaloo has it like, in the matchbox, but wider.
We chose to live the way we did because we could.
As if it was something we could have predicted.
As if it was something we could have procured.
From the smell of the place they hadn't used a wipe of windex since the plaster was peeling and the roaches were feeding.
But it was liberty that we sought.
We got.
We took and the capes are bountiful.
The hats are good too!
Ahh the hats.
That shop keeps on not going out of business, they must be doing something right.
Something with the location of the preceding street, I think it's with the twinkle in the old mans eye.. it makes me feel, discreet, mildly perturbed, kinda horny.

How do you make that rat flavored thing?
Rat bait cake?
I'm noble like that.
Maybe you should ask Dora
Dora?
The explorer
Dora the explorer?

I made this animation on my gameboy, detaling the three stages of love.

The song is 'Splendid Blood Stained Embrace Of Your Mischievious Shit Covered Cannibal Cunt Elixir' by Melbourne band Odiusembowel.

The other night I was tired and it was late and I was going home and I decided to skip part of the way. I do that sometimes you know, skip.

Now I'm a big proponent of skipping, it is a safe, efficient and enviromentally friendly method of transport. Not only that but it's quick! & uses little energy in comparison to running. In fact I'd go as far as to say that skipping is *the* most virtuous way of getting from point A to point B without some form of vehicular aid.
Except for one fact.. it looks super gay.

Why is this? Should we be blaming children for this? are children gay? they may look it, but Id find it highly discomforting if they actually were. Could this explain why boys and girls don't mix and mingle until pubescence? Could it be that prior to this moment of rapid hormonal acceleration children are all homosexuals? I sincerely hope not, and having been a child once myself, & never having had a steamy encounter with my best friend Nicolas while playing Sonic The Hedgehog im going to put this theory aside and assume that tho some may be, not all children are homos. Children do not make skipping gay.

So what can it be? the sound of music? there's lots of skipping in that movie, and it's pretty gay, but surely not enough gayness to shame men from partaking in this most exalted method of human expression.. so where does the culprit lie?

I say it lies with you dear reader.

Too long sullied by the deathly threat of the industrial world you have forgotten your roots, your god given right to skip, it is but your fault that I have been reduced to skipping home guarded by darkness, between patches of traffic & behind trees.

Who of you could bear the shame of being spotted gayly skipping at night, quite serious in your intent to shave off a few minutes off your journey and fear the repercussions of a loud guffaw, a pair of flashed hi beams, maybe even an empty milk carton to the head!

A man would be foolhardy to put himself in such peril. A peril even I cant bear.. so I point my unclipped accusatory finger at you and say, join me, repent! relinquish your inferior ways and help me create a revolution! A skip revolution. A new world order where skipping is not frowned upon but gleefuly partaken in by young and old alike, skip lanes next to your standard (and by now obsolete) walkpaths. Late to work? 'It's ok! I'll be there in a minute, i'm skipping' Late home to dinner? 'Don't worry honey! I'm skiping!' much to her or his delight! Oh what a world that would be... but we have a long way to go comrades.

Too long has a precious ability been taken from us by the man, the self governmental system of thought control and their scoundrel cronies! It's a sick world, but their time will come.

Skippers I call upon you to unite and brush this prejudiced blemish from our future and present!

Break off the shackles of pedestrian slavitude and bounce your head on high!

Skip or die.

*Sigh*

I made a bee! For a friend named Bee.
Not awfully imaginative.
But it's my payment for a haircut I'm going to get.
More people should make and trade things!
How depressingly easy it is for dreams to be dashed and expectations disappointed. I'm a completely different person to who I was two weeks ago, hell, five days ago.
I wonder if change is always for the better, and I wonder of the merit in coping with unexpected change gracefully. . Is there an arbiter of circumstance noting the quality in which men move through life?
My thoughts often center on doing things 'right' or to the best of my ability, but in a context as subjective as life it is often hard to correctly settle on a decision or justification for what was or can be.
I like a degree of certainty, I like knowing my ground, at the very least I want to know where I'm standing so I know where to step next. It's odd that I so often don't know, or just think I don't.
Clarity is a wonderful thing, as are truth, dignity and grace.
Maybe that's all there is to be, dignified and graceful under the circumstances of a wonderfully/horribly absurd unfolding of life. I'd like to think these qualities make a man, & that I have and will retain these as my pendants, amulets, jewels through life.

I don't like penguins. I think they're stupid. I see no reason for a species to exist whose sole aims are to freeze, starve, and look after an egg on the most unforgiving place on earth. Why would any species make the choice to evolve into such an awful existence? In a deeper level I guess it saddens me that the will to survive and pass on genes is is strong enough to create a whole species whose sole aim is suffering and procreating. Some cynics have said that the reason I don't like the birds is that this existence hits too close to home, but I doubt it. Humans are wild and free, creatures of pleasure and the occasional ultra violent genocidal outbreak. there's culture in that, epic books and great movies inspired.. certainly more exciting than shivering on top of an egg for six months while your friends freeze and die all around you, then spending the other 6 months walking and starving, just to do it again.
Penguins, you're cute, but for all your efforts you might as well have thrown in the towel a long time ago. I'm not impressed.

It's in the spirit of the strokes that the story comes to know itself.
Not the thought but the intent of the projection which comes to fill the gaps & creates a feeling, a movement.
A moment in time. A mo ment in ti me.

"A state of BEING balances DOING. Doing without BEING is numbness. Being without doing causes suffering. Whatever the moment gives you (...even in the midst of crisis) there is opportunity if you're present.

...What's the point in having dreams if you are not going to follow them?"

My friend Megan found these posters all over Sydney, they're great!

I really like Craig. I like that he doesn't want to do cheese or kite related activities. And that he wants us to meet him with a frozen spatchcock ready! I think he's a total catch, time traveler, light cook, and dynamic salesman flying in the face of digital media. What a dude.

THIS is really great. Good music, excellent animation, fantastic concept.

From BB - "Chiptune scene regulars and "creators of loud, fast music with a hacked NES from 1985" Anamanaguchi have just released their latest EP, Dawn Metropolis, and -- thanks to this handy embed (why don't more bands do this?) -- you can listen to it in its entirety above by clicking each of the glitch-strips."

"If you are brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting (which can be anything from your house to your bitter old resentments) and set out on a truth-seeking journey (either externally or internally), and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue, and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher, and if you are prepared – most of all – to face (and forgive) some very difficult realities about yourself….then truth will not be withheld from you."

- Elizabeth Gilbert on The Physics of The Quest.

So if I have not been blogging much it's cuz i've been making these dudes..

Im really into mexican day of the dead skulls, the expressions and colors and how they fly in the face of a dark connection to death. I'll be hopefully making lots and lots of these for fun and proft. We'll see.
