The attempted car theft and my drunken stupor after the Mezcal earn me a reputation across the town, I do nothing to dispell the rumours of being a drunken thief, any publicity is good publicity they say.

I'm waiting for my fried eggs of 15 pesos and drinking my tejate, a cold chocolate and cinnammon drink with cornflower that hits the spot after a big night of drinking. There's a guy playing marimbas outside.

I feel lost, I feel happy.

Last night was eventful, Lobo did a lecture at the UniTierra and I went to watch.

The whole gang was there, as well as the pretty gringo Megan and the owner of the Casa Rasta, Luisa. Lobo discussed the composition and conception of contemporary novels, how they came to be, when different themes were introduced etc. He's brilliant. The gringo guy was there too and eyeing Alicia, he wanted to get some and it was obvious.

Had tacos with Alicia and Josue for 4 pesos each, I ate three. Bought a bottle of Mezcal at Palenqueros, got a one hour lesson on the fabrication of Mezcal from the owner; whose family has been making the brew for over 500 years. It's truly fascinating. He loves telling his stories, we bought a half litre but he gave us 750 mls in an elegant bottle. He invited us to the ranch to watch the process on Saturday, we told him we'd try.

Alicia and I went back to hers to drink, we talked about life and love, she asked if she could kiss me, I nodded and we kissed. It was delicious. The pretentious gringo showed up, he could tell something was going on and got freaked out, he made plans to leave and asked if we wanted him to come back, "only if you being some weed" I said. He left.

We went back to the Casa Rasta. I was grinning and hyped, everyone was there, I ran into Lobo's room and jumped around, "Its the Australian! Woo!" everyone laughed. I danced and sung and danced and passed out. Alicia woke me up. Shrooms were being handed out, I took some and got into bed. Alicia got in with me, I gave her some shrooms, we made out, we made out all the way and it was great
