me: it annoys me that even now with this pseudo feminism and female equality, the subconscious expectation is still for the man to do all the work, chase, contact etc. Its like with animals, the male birds have the beautiful plumage and crest, the females are all plain looking, but its the man who has to stand on a tree and sing for 3 months straight so eventually one of these plain boring bird girls look his way. What gives them the right?! theyre plain and they dont do shit.
