So I'm taking a break from the usual course of this blog to lay down some of my thoughts rather than my adventures (which are still to continue and can be read below this post).
Finding inspiration and time, and finding them at the same time, is a curse which I have not yet outlived. Taking time from my busy schedule from doing nothing is not something I like to do, however, once I am busy, I can think of a million other things I would like to do. Regardless, much like the Simpsons or Neighbours, I shall go on.
I am on Claudias computer, the weather is cold, sporting my new Funky MissionT and beanie, waiting for Sergio to pick me up and take me to my grandparents house. I've been in the city relaxing, sorting out my import business dreams, attending some expos (100 most famous chairs, Haiti voodoo photography) seen some movies.. ("Wedding crashers" - funny but nothing special and "What the #%"# do we know" - which was terrible)..
I've been watching poker on cable. When I get back to Oz I'm going to set up a monthly poker tournament, winner takes all, $100 entry.

I like to write because it gives me a feeling of who I am and where I'm at, what I use to think, what I think now. It stops me from getting lost, keeping my bearings. If more people would keep a diary.. maybe they wouldn't reach the point where they ask themselves..
'How did I become this person? I use to have fun, I use to live, what happenned??'
It's easy, you forgot who you were.
That's why history is important, both personal and communal. It stops us from getting lost. We are very prone to getting lost.

See that bar at the top of my blog? Click on that right button, 'Next blog', have a quick read, then the next one, and so on. It's called 'Blog Surfing'. I have been doing it lately, it's fun, like jumping from one brain to another, getting to know my fellow humans. Some write about their children, others about sport, some about their dogs, their cars, their business, their husband they hate.. etc etc. You can learn a lot from taking an interest in a complete stranger, or so I think.
I am off, glad to have you join me for this quiet bit of prose. Now go out and do something, and if you can't do something, think of something to do for when you can!
OUT.
