I've been getting into some really good pop lately.

The video below is of Mathieu Chedid, he's an eccentric french star with a certain vampiric style who I just adore. The song is 'Machistador', if my French correspondent informs me properly, he's singing about how ugly he is, so ugly in fact that he makes his mother vomit. Yet the girls still love him. It must be the dance.



I first heard the Asteroids Galaxy Tour while working for a friend making leather goods and listening to Nova. Theirs was the only song that stood out amongst the saccharine monotonous melodies of the day. I spent two days searching for the name of the artist. I love the clip and its vintage style, as well as the melodies, and of course the singer Mette!
