Gino's is up and away! What with shirts, facebook, tuesday dinners, brunch and the upcoming Gino's yearly Barrio Fiesta, the place is really taking off!
Last night we had our new neighbors over to share in delicious feast and fun. I will let Megs explain it (lifted from the new Gino's facebook profile).
'Gino cooked up an immense and delicious spread to be shared with the neighbours who were the lucky winners of Gino's first competition dinner - we dined on seaweed rice, 5 x fungal concoction, sesame asparagus and green beans, freshly burnt sweet potato and pumpkin chips and salad topped with kewpie, tamari and wasabi dressing. Dessert consisted of Gino's virgin morello cherry strudle and sweeeet bethany's rice pud with raspberry coulis. The entertainment consisted of roaring fire, baja morimba, mate, retro candy, ample chinotto and falsely claimed non newtonian liquid - ooblek. To be in the running for Gino's competition dinner just wait patiently - the rules of selection are undisclosed but it is rumoured crossing your fingers, random offerings and attending other Gino's functions helps immensely. Now we just need to get rid of the rats..
