I've decided to become celibate for a month! My attitude to take this option is twofold.

1. Girls are dumb stinkyfaces.
2. At least this way it's a choice.

Megs had been thinking about this also, we had a chat and we've both decided to start, we started two weeks ago actually. We're going for a month of NUTHIN. No thinking about sex, talking about it, no rubbing of genital areas on pillows or fluffy livestock. No-Thing.

Really, sex is a part of the soul/body that takes up WAY too much pointless energy, we are assailed by sexual imagery, provocative opposite sexes, expectations etc, and the idea sold is for the most part a sham, the rewards aren't really worth the trouble since you are basing your happiness on the changing nature of another. According to Spinozas philosomophy no good can come from this, and by logic I agree. (Spinoza is my new fave philosopher, more later!)

I have seen so many couplings reach romantic shipwreck and seen so many shitty relationships that one or two occasional good ones isn't enough to convince me that there is any value in the process, and considering the amount of energy that goes into the chase.. its a dud deal.

At least this way im out for a while and can get my shit together instead of having dumb fantasies of running through fields full of flowers while holding hands with the girls from the eclipse mints ads.

To be honest the first week was easy, but this second week has been a little trickier. IT's like every day the world gets a little sexier. WHY? I feel like a recovering alcoholic who can't go to pubs, but It''s worse than that. The streets are full of ads with scantilly clad women, as well as the scantilly clad women, t.v is against me, most games, Jesse told me there's a new girl at the local cheese pie store and she is SO hot. Oh man..
